JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in our Waukesha, WI location. This position is 2nd shift. The hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Job Responsibilities The Fleet Mechanic performs the following duties: Maintains, repairs, and services vehicles and equipment that are essential to other work groups to ensure that they are safe, functional, and available when needed and in accordance with DOT regulations Performing troubleshooting and diagnosing current or potential vehicle and equipment malfunctions Temporary or permanent repairs and component rebuilding on trucks, construction, automotive and auxiliary equipment Preventative maintenance Current pay range: \$35.26- \$47.02/hr; subject to change based on union contract (starting rate will be based on experience level). Minimum Experience Required Applicant must have a minimum of two years experience as an automotive or truck mechanic within the past four years. Applicant must have a valid driver\'s license and meet the company\'s requirements for driving. Selected applicant must obtain a Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) within 90 days of entry into the job. Applicant must comply with D.O.T. Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) drug and alcohol testing requirements.
