Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for carrying out smooth and consistent business operations, involving responsibilities such as supervising staff, managing all administrative activities, and fulfilling business needs. The role involves aiding advisors in strategic planning and handling other business activities. This is an exempt position that assimilates to the partners of the firm.

• Training and onboarding

• Payroll

• Operational Management to keep the office running

• Financial Management and accounting

REQUIREMENTS Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with five or more years related experience or equivalent. They need to possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and listening abilities, along with excellent oral communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Contact Management Systems, Word, Excel, and general computer applications is a must. The candidate should be innovative, able to think creatively and display originality. They should have a resourceful approach, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches and ideas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in an Operations Manager role or similar position

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience with billing procedures and data entry tasks

• Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is preferred but not required

• Certification in Accounting or a related field, such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB), is a plus.
