FTP Construction, LLC Farm Labor Contractor in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota

Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Farm Labor Contractors to work in Madison, Lake Benton, Montevideo, Tracy, Elkton, Marietta, Canby and Bellingham in MN. From: 06/10/2024 - 12/31/2024. Work: 45 Hrs./week, Mon. - Fri., 9 hrs./day. As required in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST Law: Employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked; and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year unless the employer agrees to a higher amount. Must Apply By: 09/21/2024 JOB DUTIES: Workers in hog barns, will have the responsibility of installing, replacing equipment, and parts on machinery using hand and power tools. Disconnect wiring, piping, tubing and other components. Workers will be tasked with positioning vehicles, machinery, and structures for assembly or installation, employing hand tools, power tools and moving equipment. Clean tools, and equipment, Apply protective materials to equipment to protect defects and corrosion and maintain equipment, and repair defective equipment. Facilitate repair and reassemble equipment equipment upon completion of repairs. Workers must follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment. All required tools, supplies and equipment for the position will be provided by the employer at no cost. All workers that have a valid driver's license must agree to and comply with the employer's fleet policy agreement prior to driving company vehicles. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Workers will work on their feet in stooped positions, Lift and carry 75 pounds, on ladders up to 10 ft. high for extended periods of time. Work requires repetitive movements, bending over and walking. High School Diploma/GED not required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
