You'll make an impact by
Developing, communicating, and implementing the digital strategy for SSLS, focusing on Processes and Operations
Ensuring the digital strategy is aligned with the Digital Office of HQ
Joining the development of a market-driven digital roadmap for the company
Leading the rollout of digitalization projects based on the roadmap
Being responsible for all digitalization management activities – budgets, schedules, business cases, projects, reports, resource management, etc.
Collaborating with Global / Regional / Site teams to develop and support the implementation of digital-related projects
Supporting in resolving issues after project implementation
Establishing a digital culture by being the digital voice and thought leader
Training and developing employees on digitalization concepts. Creating and driving a digital community for the company
Being a digital thought leader within SSLS and externally to related markets. Promoting new technologies in the digital community
Introducing the digital market landscape for the external competition, trends, new technologies, partnership opportunities
Performing other tasks / responsibilities assigned by the line manager
Your defining qualities
Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in IT or computer science related
Fluency in English and Mandarin
Minimum 5 years in a corresponding IT function in the manufacturing industry
Understanding the needs of IT digitalization in the manufacturing industry
Professional knowledge of programming preferred
Familiarity with database design and its logic
Familiarity with application systems, such as SAP, MES, and Siemens software products
Experience in programming or designing applications is a plus; or in charge of designing some modules
Strong capability in transforming requirements to system logic
Experience in multiple project execution: IT/digital related
Familiarity with the use of hardware in digital applications
Familiarity with excellent vendors or contacts in the IT industry, focusing on user needs
Good communication and interpersonal skills
