Overview:While interning at Boar’s Head you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with our eCommerce Department’s team. In addition to working on live projects, you will also have the opportunity to participate in training sessions hosted by our Head of Learning and Development.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Audit current Boar’s Head online presence for key retailers – help identify gaps (missing images, content for service case & retail) and plan to address gaps, elevate brand presence

• Develop/execute Boar’s Head online programs for retailer(s) – via boosted search, hero banner, and/or branded landing pages

• Assess DTC (direct-to-consumer) approaches/models by other companies and develop recommendations on how Boar’s Head could execute DTC

• Capture best practices for Boar’s Head Prepared Foods online and develop a plan for which retailers can develop this new capability

• Help MOD’s and large independents create a new Boar’s Head online presence

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing or business management or a recent graduate of a similar program.

• Communication – good oral and written communication

• Team player – likes interacting with team to learn and solve

• Thinking/Problem-solving – able to review situations or data and interpret

• Initiative – able to see a problem/issue/opportunity and take proactive steps to address

• Creativity – willingness to think of a new way to approach problems; creativity in potential design ideas for online programs; comfortable working with graphics dept.

• Passion for digital / online – particularly ordering products online, exploring product info, etc. (not about social media or gaming, etc.)

• Passion for our products/brand – interest in Boar’s Head, food category
