Amazon Sr. Product Manager | Priority position for women, RO&I in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

Amazon is seeking a passionate and experienced Sr. Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of new legislation changes in our systems. You will own the roadmap of projects required for compliance, lead the product working backwards process for key initiatives, and analyze the financial impact of decisions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for implementing tax reform requirements and tax compliance within Amazon's products and systems.

  • Lead the working backwards process for key tax compliance initiatives, defining deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Legal, Tax) to ensure smooth implementation.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about progress and challenges.

  • Analyze the financial impact of tax reform changes on Amazon's business.

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to optimize tax compliance procedures.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations relevant to Amazon's business.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
