Environmental Specialties is seeking an Inside Salesperson Trainee that will be responsible for the sales and support of our Reach-In room products, with a key focus on coordinating business development with Sales Engineering and technical specifications to streamline strategic initiatives.

Key Duties: As a Trainee, you will learn to…

  • Manages and prioritizes the sales opportunity pipeline efficiently and effectively

  • Manages internal departmental reporting by updating quotes, budgets, pipeline projects in Teams, etc.

  • Responsible for strong commitment to coordinate and work with other departments, including Estimating, Application Sales Engineering, technical staff, and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

  • Provides full execution support to assist, Director of Process Development / Director of Business Strategy on strategic initiatives on task refinement and business strategy on product portfolio.

  • Enforces current SOP set in process development for all the SPS duties for smooth and seamless functioning.

  • Participates in training of our products, technical development and product portfolio from Application Director.

  • Meets quarter and annual sales goals and develops personal sales goal objectives and expected sales volume.

  • Evaluates bid documents, cost estimates and pricing, determines buying criteria, and collaborates with other stakeholders to develop complete proposals based on RFQ documents and internal strategy for proposal formulation and client presentation.

  • Strategizes with the Sales Director, Application Engineering and Estimating for best approach.

  • Engages extensively with Application Director on technically complex projects to enhance technical selling and strategy.

  • Schedules and presents client proposals and is responsible for closing the job.

  • Contributes to the development and refinement of the company’s sales strategy, including new market/client identification and entrance, to increase business.

  • Networks with and develops new client relationships and maintains/improves existing relations and meets the decision makers within client organizations.

  • Attends industry association events and trade shows to provide feedback and information on market trends and client needs.

  • Keeps current with marketplace supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

  • Required Bachelor's Degree in field of Chemistry, Biology or Engineering with science background.

  • Graduate looking for training opportunity.

  • Strong organization skills to manage sales pipeline.

  • Comfortable with frequent customer communication

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office products user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, etc)

  • Requires accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.

  • Ability to self-schedule and estimate workloads/deadlines.

  • Job may require work on weekends and after hours.

  • Job requires some site visit travel.

  • Personnel leadership and development abilities

  • Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism, and appropriate concern regarding dissemination of sensitive and confidential information.

  • Must have the ability to make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely results

  • Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, and customers.

  • Requires a high degree of tact, the ability to communicate and must know the basics of good customer relations.
