Using Fresh, Local, Seasonal ingredients and partnering with other businesses for products and events sets us apart. Weve been open for just over a year and have lots of room to grow into the space over the coming years with the right team.

Job Description: As a Kitchen Manager at Rodney\'s Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering consistently high-quality dishes to our guests. We are seeking an individual who is dependable, self-reliant, and passionate about food and customer service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing food preparation, managing inventory, controlling labor costs, and providing leadership to our kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

Hire, train, and supervise kitchen team members.

Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.

Review and evaluate performance of kitchen team members.

Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.

Product rotation and proper utilization.

Menu development through specials and events.

Inventory management and accountability.

Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with food safety standards.

Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen management role preferred.

2-5 years of cooking professionally

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
