Position : Regional Financial Aid Director Continuing Students

Lincoln Tech is looking for a Regional Director of Continuing Students to Oversee the continuing student operation of the regional Financial Aid Department. In this role, you will plan, direct, implement, and monitor the timely processing of Financial Aid in accordance with federal and/or state regulations and Company policy.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years' experience in Title IV Administration

  • Or, 10 or more years' experience in Title IV Administration and management

Responsibilities:

Regional Management

  • Serve as a liaison between the VP of FA Operations and the Campus Presidents within the region to ensure each campus' needs are meet for continuing student and re-entry packaging.

  • Work with campus and corporate management to ensure student issues identified through DBNR, Past Due, and EPAR scrubs are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Develop and deploy strategies to assist in the completion of repackaging as well as working closely with all departments and Campus Presidents within the region to ensure all necessary adjustments to continuing students packaging are done timely and accurately.

  • Responsible for management for the accurate completion of verification and documentation of independent status.

  • Assist with coordinating all schools within the region's response to any internal/external audit related to the management of Title IV program.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Lincoln's mission to provide outstanding customer service throughout the student experience.

  • Ensure that the management of the daily operations of the Financial Aid Department and implement new policies to ensure the accurate, timely, and ethical awarding and processing of Title IV program funds according to federal and/or state regulations and Company policies and procedures.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Assist with tracking the allocation of campus-based financial aid funds within the region.

  • Perform routine audits on active and inactive student files to ensure compliance with Title IV regulations.

  • Monitoring the weekly activity reports to ensure all continuing student financial aid packaging is timely and accurate.

FA Processes

  • Ensure all repacks, grad audits, student course failure adjustments, grade changes, temp outs, re-entries, and program transfers are addressed and repackaged if needed.

  • Ensure all continuing student files are complete and all needed documents are collected in a timely manner

  • Oversee the processing of student loan and grant applications. Monitor and track the region's Institutional Loan Program.

  • Oversee and monitor maintenance of the document tracking systems within the office (Pell Grants, Federal loans, income tax returns, etc.) as required.

Training & Development

  • Manage and supervise Financial Aid Managers and staff within the region.

  • Answer FA manager and advisor questions concerning the student aid package promptly, professionally, and accurately.

  • Manage, train, and develop all continuing student and advanced packaging managers within the region.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred

  • Regional or corporate level FA management experience
