Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Machine Vision Technician to join our team in Oregon IL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of automated vision equipment, software, lensing and the like
• Able to program vision software and machine software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and optics
• Source hardware, software, and optics
• Install software and debug PCs.
• Working knowledge of various lightning techniques
• Build test setups with vision systems and lighting.
• Document finished systems in the form of written manuals and operations instructions.
• Support production with software and hardware needs.
• Gain knowledge of existing vision applications and support plants with vision needs.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma required. Associates or bachelors degree preferred.
• Experience with electrical/electronics systems preferred.
• Hands-on experience working on prototype setups both mechanically and electrically.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems.
• Ability to document processes and procedures in written format.
• 3D CAD experience a plus.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and hardworking
• Must show the strong sense of urgency required in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
