Title: Digital Print Production Operator
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Niles, USA
Responsibilities
The Digital Press Operator ensures that daily work schedule is completed in a timely and efficient manner
This includes running a variety of different black and white and color digital presses on a range of different substrates
The Digital Press Operator will also be responsible for the daily and weekly maintenance required to keep the presses in good operating condition
As well as be able to diagnose printing and quality issue
Ability to learn how to run digital printing equipment both 1-C and 4-C and keep production moving in a deadline orientated work environment
Performs weekly cleaning and minor preventative
Communicates with Production and Sales staff to offer suggestions on workflow improvements
Responsible for ordering inventory of printing supplies needed for production
Qualifications
Must have some experience in running/maintaining commercial digital printers
Must have experience with operate folder, cutter, sticher and other bindery equipment
Working knowledge of production equipment, mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read, understand, follow job tickets and follow safety standards
Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends if needed
Strong communication in English both spoken and written
Basic computer skills
Ability to maintain and develop internal relationships among different departments
Must have a minimum 1 year of digital printing experience
Experience maintaining digital print equipment
Must be available for weekends when needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Details: $21.22 per hour
