Robert Half Sr. HR Generalist/Manager in Newton, New Jersey

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Senior HR Generalist/Manager, that will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources functions within the organization. You will collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic partner to leadership in all matters related to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process.

  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

  • Develop and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits, ensuring competitive offerings and cost-effectiveness.

  • Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals and objectives.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR generalist or HR manager, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, including employment law, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and sustainable solutions.
