Robert Half Payroll Administrator in New York, New York

Description We are in search of a diligent Payroll Administrator to join our team in New York. This role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all employees. As a Payroll Administrator, you will also be handling various accounting and benefits functions, maintaining a high level of proficiency in systems such as ADP and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment to all employees

• Utilize systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft Excel to process payroll and maintain records

• Handle various accounting functions, leveraging skills in areas such as 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, and Check Processing

• Manage benefits functions, ensuring employees' benefits are accurately recorded and processed

• Utilize Paycom for various payroll tasks, ensuring proficiency and accuracy in use

• Maintain accurate records of payroll, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate

• Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues, providing high-quality customer service to all employees

• Utilize Excel Formulas for various payroll and accounting tasks, demonstrating a high level of proficiency and accuracy

• Continuously update and improve payroll processes and systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

• Collaborate with other departments and teams as necessary, providing payroll information and support as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with Ceridian software

• Ability to use Kronos Timekeeping System

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions

• Experience in Check Processing

• Proficiency in using Paycom software

• Knowledge of Payroll systems

• Ability to use Excel Formulas effectively

• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of applicable federal and state payroll and tax laws

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
