Amazon Product Manager, Supply Chain Product Management in Mexico City, Mexico

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Supply Chain product management team. The ideal candidate will advocate for customers by defining customer experiences and working with international tech and business teams. This person will be an innovative leader who is a critical thinker, that can work independently but thrives working with diverse tech and business teams. Effective communication is essential for this role as it involves working across multiple teams, including senior management. This role involves ambiguity, and we are looking for someone who can embrace the challenge of solving complex problems with various stakeholders and create scalable solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and technical teams to build, develop, and manage the product roadmap for features that enhance supply chain capabilities.

  • Define product vision, business requirements, and strategies and work with tech teams to implement it.

  • Simplify complex topics for broad audiences. You drive product discussions. You are able to distill clear requirements from large and diverse sets of customers, partners, vendors, and regional agencies or business entities.

  • Work with stakeholders across supply chain, retail, technology, operations, finance, market place and transportation.

  • Perform or commission market research, usability studies, and identify best of breed benchmarks and solve customer problems.

  • Develop product plans that have clear, measurable success criteria. You define mechanisms and metrics (e.g., KPIs, funnels, conversion, awareness) that enable you to quickly explain your product’s/feature adoption, performance and any variance against goals.

  • Develop product materials and create training content for sales and account management roles.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Mexico City, DIF, MEX

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of product management experience

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level

  • MBA or Master degree preferred
