Robert Half FP&A Manager in Memphis, Tennessee

Description We are in search of a skilled FP& A Manager to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is pivotal in leading and enhancing the financial decision-making process through analysis, financial projections, and reporting. As a key business partner, you will be actively involved in the site leadership team, providing important financial insights to the site general manager.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the 'Finance Review' section of the new Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives

• Prepare a rolling financial forecast for P& L, Balance sheet, cash flow, and CAPEX

• Conduct financial analysis of site P& L’s, balance sheet, and cash flow

• Prepare and present a high-quality monthly financial review presentation

• Conduct detailed analysis of profitability by SKU, part family, customer, value-stream, etc.

• Analyze labor costs at the site including overtime spend and productivity measures

• Prepare daily/weekly reports for the site, detailed cost and revenue analysis

• Support Supply Chain by conducting spend analysis

• Analyze aging of inventory to support the Operations and Commercial teams

• Collaborate with IT and central finance teams to link and automate business information. Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of FP& A Manager or similar

• Proven experience in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain sectors is essential

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is required

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is crucial

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data accurately

• Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively

• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to develop and implement financial strategies in line with company objectives

• Strong understanding of financial laws and regulations

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
