Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner and Turnpike Catheters, AC3 Optimus Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary This position will develop and implement commercialization strategies to support the financial objective attainment for the Interventional SBU. This role will involve collaborating cross functionally with the Marketing Leadership, Clinical Medical Affairs, Operations, Regulatory & Quality, and Sales for downstream commercial activities to support marketing plan deliverables for key product franchises. #LI-LP1 Principal Responsibilities * Develop and execute comprehensive commercialization strategies and tactics to drive product revenue and new product launches * Lead with cross-geographic and cross-functional team(s) to ensure project and product launch success * Be the advocate and knowledgeable for international markets and market development at the product line level * Maintain strong, consistent, and clear communication with all stakeholders on a continual basis * Maintain and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leverage relationships with KOLs for regional voice of customer (VOC) * Represent the 'voice of the customer' - drive optimal utilization of market information and analysis to guide insights and decision-making * Drive and support existing global business unit operational strategies including robust product lifecycle plans, product related issues, and RA/QA related issues * Understand the market trends, market size, customer requirements, competing systems and companies, and potential new competing technologies * Take ownership and be the subject matter expert for product lines including product knowledge, forecasting current and new products, and budget planning * Generate impactful claims to drive growth in competitive markets * Create and manage product line materials, collateral, sales tools, and training * Be knowledgeable of medical procedures, decision makers, clinical needs and market opportunities * Maintain awareness of U.S.-centric vs International product preferences * Analyze data and trends to proactively plan and communicate key marketing activities * Recognize and communicate unmet clinical needs * Ensure relevancy, compliance and ease of use of all product labeling, manuals and training materials * Design and test economic value proposals * Collaborate to ensure development, distribution and management of communications, communication tools and traini g efforts * Support development of value proposition messaging and fulfill communication requirements of Global Markets * Support critical communications on product recalls to ensure recall requirements are met, sales reps and customer service staff are informed and customer loyalty is maintained * Ensure development and delivery of relevant sales training that meets targeted clinical procedures/requirements * All activities must be performed in compliance with the Teleflex Quality System * Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations * Performs other duties as assigned by Management Education / Experience Requirements * 2+ years of medical device product management experience * Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) * Master's Degree (preferred) * Demonstrable experience managing commercialization initiatives in the medical device industry * Global experience with the ability to interact with international markets * Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and PPT; Adobe Creative Suite experience; web & email marketing experience Specialized Skills / Other Requirements * Mentors and trains personnel to meet expectations of their job descriptions and to develop them technically and professionally * Ability to develop and communicate marketing plans to develop appropriate communications program strategies and tactics * Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through development, review and timely implementation required * Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills * Extremely detail oriented * Excels at building strong relationships both internally in a heavily matrixed environment, and externally across diverse partnerships * Superior writing, editing, and presentation skills * Ability to work within the constraints of a regulated industry while maintaining and elevating creative outputs * Understanding of products, use in procedures, and customer segmentation * Understanding of overall healthcare environment/landscape * Ability to make timely, strategic decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment * Solid business acumen * Experience with successful product and brand launches * Robust project management skills * Experience creating effective messaging TRAVEL REQUIRED: 30 % Teleflex, Inc. is an affirmative action & equal opportunity employer.
