Sales Executive, Inside Sales

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Responsible for owning internal sales efforts which satisfy our existing customers, and targeted new customers within specified verticals and field sales organization. Build relationships and effectively communicate pertinent sales information throughout the Kohler Kitchen and Bath Sales organization. Represent Kohler interests to ensure customer obligations are honored, driving project specifications and shipments within the Multifamily, Hospitality, Commercial, and Builder channel segments.

Work closely with all Kohler cross functional teams driving desired results for the organization. Demonstrates a strong ego-driven / assertive nature and can develop strong skillset in sales and product knowledge allowing the individual to be considered for Outside Sales opportunities. The position serves as part of the Kohler K&BA Sales talent pipeline with the opportunity for advancement in the sales career path.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and build trusting relationships with all Sales Executives, Sales Managers, and key functional colleagues in KBNA, distributor, and key customer contacts.

  • Support Field Sales, Distributors, and secondary customers within targeted business segments (MF, Hospitality, Commercial, Builder, Distribution) by seeking out and providing in a timely fashion critical information, i.e., product availability, features, standard pricing, project quote requests and revisions, part searches, specification requests, expedited orders, etc.

  • Leverage Salesforce to manage customer relationships, interactions, leads and opportunities to demonstrate an accurate pipeline.

  • Assist Sales Team to develop and cultivate new business relationships to drive Kohler and Sterling brand specifications and shipments.

  • Execute a strategic sales plan and detailed tracking of customer interactions, quotes, and opportunities.

  • Engage in strategic outreach to develop and grow the client base.

  • Work with Sales Executives to win designers' project specifications and create these specifications tailored to the project needs.

  • Send out regular e-blasts of Kohler new product updates to key accounts­ developers, owners, designers, builders, GC's, etc.

  • Work in FEI Bidtracer and other RFQ systems to cross specifications, quote, and execute spec to ship process.

  • Assist the Sales Team in project quote management-creating and revising project quotes, to get the quotes to distributors in a timely manner.

  • Maintain a list of open quotes, expediting to meet the customer's timeframe, and drive to completion. Measure quote success via a quote tracking system. Handle the quote entry system to ensure Inside Sales is assisting in the most effective manner.

  • Support the Sales team with ordering literature and samples for showrooms and projects.

Skills/Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred OR minimum of 2 years of sales experience required.

  • Experience in sales and/or customer relations preferred.

  • Must possess strong written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.

  • An individual who wants to progress beyond this level of responsibility within the K&BA Sales organization is desirable.

  • Travel to trade shows, manufacturing plants, and customer visits as needed, approximately 10- 30%.#LI-Hybrid#LI-NE1

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $59,250 - $74,050 plus a competitive half-yearly sales incentive bonus. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
