This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the kennel area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cleans and disinfects kennels. This duty is performed daily.

2. Feeds and waters animals. This duty is performed daily.

3. Provides initials intake service on animals dip/bath. This duty is performed daily.

4. Prepares animals for adoption. This duty is performed daily.

5. Cleans officers trucks. This duty is performed daily.

6. Cleans equipment i.e. cages, traps, travel kennels. This duty is performed daily.

7. Performs kennel maintenance and small repairs. This duty is performed daily.

8. Assist\'s Animal Control Officers in holding of animals for euthanasia. This duty is performed as needed.

9. Provides maintenance on grounds. This duty is performed weekly.

10. Operates a city vehicle for essential functions. This duty is performed as needed.

11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
