Arc Herkimer Food Prep Worker- Copper Cafe in Ilion, New York

Food Prep Worker:

Starting rate $15/ hour. Part Time- Monday to Friday 9am- 1pm.

Job Requirements: 

  •  High School Diploma/GED preferred.

  • Food prep experience of one year preferred.  

  • Knowledge of all kitchen operations required.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Assist the Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations, including, but not limited to, preparation and production of meals, food quality and presentation, safety compliance, sanitation standards, team member productivity and performance, and cost control procedures.

  • Assist in creation and implementation of menu selections as needed.

  • Coordinate, monitor, and help execute all Café functions as directed.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, and sanitation standards are attained.

  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, assisting with evaluations, training, scheduling.
