Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cash Applications role to join their team in Houston, Texas. This role primarily involves processing payments daily and posting of all lockbox and ACH payments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scans of all checks not sent to the lockbox and update customers' banking information

• Work directly with customers and credit analysts to research and resolve unapplied or unidentified payments

• Manage high volume cash applications tasks, including general cash posting and managing exception tasks

• Process credit card requests and reconcile bank transactions with customer's accounts

• Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to perform account reconciliation and manage cash applications.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Experience with Cash Applications is essential

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
