As the Senior Technical Product Manager - Cardiovascular IT, you will be responsible for shaping the roadmap, new product introduction and wing to wing lifecycle management for Centricity™ Cardio Workflow product and drive market share growth, product offering competitiveness, and IB retention. Incumbent works with customers, cross functional product development, commercial, service and support teams and helps in the formation of the strategic roadmap and vision, aligning product vision to develop capabilities to enable broader offering creation and positioning. This role requires significant experience in the product management of medical devices and/or clinical IT, imaging products.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer focus by communicating and building rapport with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in work processes

  • Closely collaborate with marketing to translate practice needs, complete market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the products

  • Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customers

  • Conducting product research to further understand the competitive profile for the segment worldwide (where applicable) and opportunities for growth

  • Work with marketing, engineering, and services to create long-term product roadmaps, requirements, and business plans

  • Drive product to meet market needs, formulate strategy and execute product roadmaps through new product introduction programs while establishing tradeoffs between internal development

  • Establish business partnership activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.

  • Coordinate the needs across a multi-functional organization, including marketing, sales, operations, engineering, and services teams, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in understanding market needs, defining solutions, collaborating with R&D through all phases of product creation and delivering to global markets through new product introduction programs.

  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the software domain and 5 years in product management

Desired Characteristics

  • Deep domain expertise in Healthcare IT industry – specifically, in cardiology / cardiovascular IT and workflows, market needs and trends

  • Ability to evangelize concepts beyond current offerings and consider business model innovation (product, service and delivery innovations

  • Define and influence pricing strategy for product/ service offerings.

  • Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills

  • Identify customer’s business and strategic needs, concerns, and desires for the value delivery capabilities of the product

  • Experience in SDLC methodologies, tools and working with medical device quality system processes

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes.

  • Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices.

  • Ability to re-appropriate existing solutions to new requirements and situations

  • Experience with SaaS, AI, Cloud, DBs

  • Experience with development/ implementation of EHR/EMR cardiology solutions (eg. EPIC Cupid)

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $138,720.00-$208,080.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
