Trinity Health Transportation Manager in Gaithersburg, Maryland

Description:

The primary purpose of your job position is to responsible for the transportation program; including transport of

participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy and any other transportation as deemed necessary.

Position Purpose: As a Transportation Supervisor at Trinity Health PACE of Montgomery County, you'll lead our transportation program with a focus on ensuring seamless movement for our participants, from transport to meals to medical equipment and beyond.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and supervise transportation staff, overseeing hiring, training, and competency procedures.

  • Collaborate within our interdisciplinary team, reporting daily participant updates and ensuring effective communication.

  • Manage transportation scheduling software and daily schedules for drivers.

  • Coordinate delivery of meals, medical equipment, and supplies.

  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and assist in vehicle procurement.

  • Ensure participant satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required, college degree preferred.

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in working with the frail or elderly population; two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting; and five (5) years of experience in the transportation industry.

  • Experience working with elderly populations and in transportation settings.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related software.

  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
