Utility Person - Entry Level Position

We are a locally owned & rapidly expanding ISO 9001:2015 certified Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Shop. Drasgow produces precision turned parts from bar stock on Screw Machines. Drasgow manufactures original equipment parts for the Automotive & Heavy Truck Industry as well as machining Agricultural & Industrial parts in our Tool & Die area.

Job Type: Full-time

Requirements:
1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 2. Be capable of working with others. 3. Be physically capable of standing or sitting at or on machines, operating them, lifting heavy pans of parts and bar stock. 4. Being mentally capable of following instructions (wearing safety glasses on the shop floor). 5. Must be capable of being at work on time, working your full shift and be willing to work overtime when required.

Job Duties may include but not limited to: 1. Keep all machinery neat and clean. 2. Keep the entire shop floor swept and mopped.
3. Operate a riding lawn tractor and keep the grounds neat and orderly. 4. Shovel snow around the doorways. 5. Clean and paint equipment and safety lines. 6. Clean the bases of the Screw Machines. 7. Operate the Chip Spinner, separating the oil and chips. 8. Dumping the chips in a hopper and refilling the Screw machines with oil. 9. Sort parts visually or with gages.
10. Deburr parts.
13. Keep the Office, Shop, Rest Rooms, and Grounds neat, clean and orderly. 14. Do whatever is needed and perform any other duties that are required of you.

Salary Range is $15/hour - $24/hour, depending on experience
