Day to Day: They are the ones that dig into account problems ( ex customer calls in with issue cases get sent to them) once assigned they will work through to find solutions, they answer the question that CS cannot handle

The position of Account Resolution Specialist primarily focuses on the handling of escalated account issues that are prioritized due to difficulty in breadth and/or scope. Individuals on the Account Resolution team are also called upon to conduct research, contact customers regarding resolution of issues, and follow up on any outstanding issues in a consistent fashion. The Account Resolution team investigates and resolves account issues to improve customer relations while protecting company profits. The Account Resolution team also oversees routine account maintenance including, but not limited to, order cancellations, order returns, paid in full accounts, and instrument maintenance agreements.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Basic knowledge of accounting and billing principals

• Intermediate understanding of traditional and online retail transactions

• Excellent deductive reasoning and problem solving skills

• Ability to remain accurate and consistent within a repetitive environment

• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy on a regular basis

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing feedback in a diplomatic manner

• Ability to communicate with customers via phone and email in a professional manner.

• Willing to remain versed in current business practices in order to maintain his/her level of performance

• Enjoys working independently for extended periods of the day

• Ability to receive constructive feedback from management and team members.
