Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18 old. Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental healthcare and education services for at risk female adolescents, families and our community.

We are seeking a Director of Risk Management to join our team! The Director of Quality Improvement/Risk Manager has a broad responsibility to ensure the quality of patient care and protect the hospital’s assets from loss. The Director of QI/RM is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Quality Improvement and Risk Management Programs are designed so as to comply with guidelines and standards of the Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agencies. Monitors, evaluates, plans and implements the facility-wide Quality Improvement Program. Responsible to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment at all times. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and proactive in their role as Risk Manager.

  Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; masters preferred

• The ideal candidate will have a nationally recognized quality related certification (e.g. CPHQ), although this is not required

• Must be able to pass a Level 2 AHCA background and drug screen

• Experience in a psychiatric facility with knowledge of high risk areas preferred

• Has knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and all other relevant state and federal regulatory standards including Baker Act

• Has knowledge of hospital operations, risk identification, assessment and reduction and claims management

• Responsible to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment at all times

• MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE
