Olsten Staffing is assisting a well-established company in the Florence SC area in the search for an experienced Material Handler . The Material Handler is responsible for managing the inventory and distribution of materials within the warehouse.

Hours:

8AM-5PM

Monday-Friday

Pay rate:

$15-`$17 an hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.

• Store materials in designated locations ensuring proper handling and storage.

• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment according to orders.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

• Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.

• Ensure workspace is clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or similar role.

• Familiarity with warehouse procedures and best practices.

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).

• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to [insert weight limit]).

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
