JOB SUMMARYActively supporting the Stockroom function in all material related and control tasks. Accurately and safely perform warehouse related activities involving the physical movement of material with corresponding system transactions, supporting verifications, and documentation when necessary.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Multi-role Proficiency: Demonstrate competency in multiple job roles within the Materials department to support operational flexibility and efficiency.-Forklift Operations: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, either through prior experience or willingness to undergo training.-Task Flexibility: Adapt to changing job duties based on daily operational needs, including but not limited to material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.-Safety Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety guidelines and protocols, including the consistent use of appropriate PPE to mitigate workplace hazards.-Security Protocols: Follow on-site security procedures diligently, ensuring compliance and contributing to a secure work environment.-Overhead Door Management: Monitor and control the opening and closing of overhead doors as required, contributing to site security and operational efficiency.The Material Handler 2 plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of our Materials department, requiring a combination of versatility, safety consciousness, and attention to detail.
