Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Florence, Kentucky

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the distribution and technical solutions industry in Florence, Kentucky. This role is for a Customer Service Representative who will be a key link between our company and our customers, managing orders and ensuring the highest level of service is maintained. This role is not based in a call center, but rather within an office environment, working closely with a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner

• Updating and correcting order errors in SAP to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Serving as the main point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong relationships

• Working with a small office team to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction

• Performing data entry duties, including inputting customer orders and purchase orders

• Correcting billing errors and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Utilizing customer service skills to maintain a positive company image and customer relationship

• Collaborating with the team to problem-solve and improve the customer experience

• Ensuring all customer data and interactions are entered into the system accurately and efficiently

• Taking proactive steps to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in using SAP software for various customer service tasks

• Solid experience in customer service, able to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally

• Knowledge of order entry procedures, able to accurately enter and process customer orders

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high speed and accuracy

• Experience in handling purchase orders, ensuring they are processed and fulfilled in a timely manner

• Understanding of correct billing practices, able to identify and correct any billing errors promptly

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with customers

• Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues and provide appropriate solutions

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Willingness to continually learn and improve skills for better customer service delivery

• High level of patience and empathy to handle customer complaints effectively

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for creating and managing documents and spreadsheets.
