Job Purpose Summary

As a Purchasing and Receiving Associate, you will be in charge of coordinating all incoming and outgoing orders and maintaining sufficient inventory of production supplies and materials.

What you will do

  • Update Inventory count as necessary for office supplies and production materials.

  • Inventory reporting and scheduling of future orders.

  • Purchase Order Management (create/change/adjust PO).

  • Receiving incoming equipment and materials and logging into database.

  • Creating and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with vendors.

  • Preparing shipments.

  • Document control management of completed production orders.

  • Point of contact for distribution team and NJ team.

  • Packaging instruments prior to shipment.

  • Receiving repairs, coordinating repairs, processing shipment of repaired goods.

  • Coordinating the return process for instruments.

  • Processing invoices and payables.

  • Assisting team members with basic needs.

What you will need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Positive attitude with good attendance and time management skills.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • FedEx and UPS WorldShip.

  • General understanding of ERP systems.

  • Strong IT skills, including Excel.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Confident communication skills.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Can-do hands-on and problem-solving attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills and team player.
