Job Title: Director of Accounting Information Systems (AIS)

The Accounting Information Systems Director is a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute and lead through influence and by example. The Director of AIS leads accounting and procure-to-pay initiatives across a broad range of stakeholders by optimizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to present financial performance outcomes. The incumbent serves as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on optimizing utilization of the accounting process automation with the right ERP investments. The incumbent thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, thrives in bringing clarity to complex or ambiguous problems, has sound business judgment, builds trust, and is passionate about developing talent in highly inclusive teams.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Build and evolve an ERP framework to optimize investment and support business agility. Solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Partner with key stakeholders in Human Resources, Accounting and Technology to create robust ERP models for financial processing.

Provide assurance that AIS systems align with strategic initiatives across business functions following best practice configuration, design and continuous process improvement. Ensure systems are configured to streamline and automate processes, enforce controls, inform and provide business insights that drive better decisions and actions.

Partner with cross-functional leaders leveraging deep financial and technical experience to plan, direct, and prioritize projects supported by the AIS staff. Assess project proposals to ensure scope, objectives and cost effectiveness align with strategic goals.

Build and lead a team of AIS analysts, developers and managers supporting accounting and procure-to-pay functional systems. This will be accomplished through coaching, mentoring and providing ongoing feedback to foster a work environment filled with innovation and learning.

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders ensuring that organizational change management is planned and communicated effectively, including training initiatives for end-users to optimize use of the ERP environment.

Collaborate with the People Team and Payroll to streamline and automate functional processes, and ensure timely, accurate integration of financial transactions.

Apply understanding of accounting close and financial reporting to ensure ERP system administration follows sound controls.

Stay apprised of ERP systems technology trends and practices.

Oversee the monthly Infor Financials release note review; ensure new features and fixed issues are reviewed and determinations are made on the applicability to Arvest. Make recommendations to test, implement or place on roadmap for future consideration.

Lead discussions with internal and external auditors; review requests and responses to ensure proper evidence of effective controls is attained and delivered.

Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) within the department and make recommendations to the annual department budget request.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
