Are you a bike enthusiast looking for a job opportunity? Your Boat Club is hiring full-time entry-level bike techs for our Eagle River location. As a TREK dealer, we need individuals who can provide basic maintenance, install new parts, and repair damaged bikes for our customers. We are willing to train the ideal candidate, and no prior experience is required. The ideal candidate must be eager to learn, have an eye for detail, and possess excellent customer service skills. They must also be physically fit to maneuver and lift bicycles. We expect the successful candidate to keep up to date with new developments in the industry. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose bike issues 

• Assembly of bikes 

• Repair and maintain bikes and components 

• Advise customers on basic bike maintenance 

• Carry out routine checks 

• Order and maintain stock levels 

• Carry out basic maintenance and servicing of bicycles 

  Required Skills and Abilities:

• No prior experience is required, but an aptitude for mechanical work is preferred 

• Good communication skills 

• Able to work independently and as part of a team 

• Physical strength and dexterity 

• Problem-solving ability 

  Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times 

• Must be able to work with steady hands and have visual acuity to identify issues and make proper alignments 

• Manual and finger dexterity are needed to perform repairs and adjustments 

  Compensation:

  It will be competitive with similar positions and negotiable depending on experience, along with being eligible for healthcare with dental, vision, accident add-ons, and IRA plans.
