Administrative Specialist III

\$27,040/Yr.

Position Summary

The Administrative SpecialistIIIposition will work closely with the Registrar and Associate Registrars to support the business operations of the office. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Registrars Office help desk
  • Lead phone duties for the main Registrars Office line
  • Lead email communication for the main Registrars Office email account
  • Maintain office budget, inventory, and supplies
  • Manage leave and compensation forms
  • Initiate position postings and Personnel Action Forms
  • Submit building work orders
  • Assist with the office project software by communicating deadlines and project information

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of computers and software application programs. Knowledge of database management and basic accounting principles. Ability to conduct research and perform basic quantitative quality assurance reviews. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, resources, and materials associated with the needs of the department. Seeking individual with excellent customer care skills.

Required Education and/or Experience

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, or a related field; plus three years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.
