In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

  • Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions

  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years' experience in application platform conversions such as Systematics RM, Metavante, Mainframe systems and Hogan would be a plus

  • 4+ years' experience in Mainframe systems, transaction managers such as CICS and IMS would be a plus

  • 4+ years' experience in Mainframe database systems such as DB2 would be a plus

  • 4+ years' experience in HOGAN Customer Information System, Integrated Deposit would be a plusSystem, Online collections system and relationship profitability manager

  • 4+ year experience in application development languages such as IBM Assembler, COBOL, Easytrieve, JAVA, JSON, PL/I, Python, REXX, XML

Job Expectations:

  • Must be based in one of the above locations or willing to relocate at your own expense.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule.

• Strong analytic skills that can take ambiguous problems and drive them to clear, well-defined solutions.

• Excellent communication skills at every level of the organization. Ability to understand the audience and adjust the message so that it is clearly understood . Ability to read the direction of a conversation in a meeting and facilitate it for maximimum understanding and effective outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of all cloud concepts and production resilience concepts. Able to define architectures that demonstrate these concepts.

• Ability to lead and influence others and critique their work in a way that improves the overall team and the final product.

• Strong relationship skills that brings others in, educates stakeholders, and drives consensus.

• Very deep skills in at least two technical domains.

Create design and architecture documents for Product Epics as needed by Product Manager

Act as an advisor to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies across product (multiple L2s)

Provide teams with hands on help by committing code changes, conducting code reviews and building user stories and task

Ensure delivery teams are meeting non-functional requirements with each release.

Partners with the Product Area Product Owner to refine the product backlog, incorporating technical strategy, measurements, and non-functional considerations.

Supports Product Technology Lead in the maintenance of approved (standard, restricted, and evaluation) 3rd party tech products including installing and establishing the configuration baseline, inclusive of the management of sunrise and sunset activities for technology software and hardware products.

Ensure architecture designs are implemented across all applications and that teams leverage firmwide frameworks for application build.

Identify areas where technical debt is being carried and highlight to product technology lead.

Experience in application platform conversions such as Systematics RM, Metavante, Mainframe systems and Hogan would be a plus

Pay Range

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
