This Position is for a Janitorial Worker/Van Driver for a company in Columbus, MS.

AbilityWorks of Columbus is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Janitorial Worker/Van Driver. This individual will be responsible for daily cleaning of offices as well as bathrooms, trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, and related janitorial services. This individual will also assist with minor maintenance such as replacing light bulbs. This individual will also serve as a transport van driver for our job training program participants.

Education and Experience: Must be 21 years of age. Minimum of two years driving experience with the type of vehicle to be driven on the job. High School Diploma and/or GED. Must possess a Class R (Regular Operator) Driver's License. Applicants should have no more than two moving violation, chargeable accidents, or a combination of either within a two-year period. Must have NO convictions or citations for reckless driving or driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. Will be subject to drug & alcohol testing as per agency policy, and any time at the request of AbilityWorks, Inc. management. May be required to take a physical examination at the request of AbilityWorks, Inc. management. Will be subject to MVR & Background check. Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment & vehicles safely and sensibly.
