OhioMeansJobs-Cleveland Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Production Operator at a manufacturing company within the Cleveland area. Job Description: 1. Assist Production Manager with production processing activities. 2. Assists Production Manager with training new and B&C class Production Operators 3. Inspection skills and testing of all products. 4. Load and unloads trucks, as required. 5. Follow all safety rules. 6. Follows all company documented work instructions and procedures. Equipment Knowledge Proficient at operating processing equipment, including Spinners, Tumbling, Manual Blasting and Screen separators. Competent and safe Fork Truck driving skills Job Routers Can read and comprehend processing instructions on Job Routers. Can run Time and Material Jobs Qualifications and Requirements: 1. High School Graduate with some additional trade school preferred. 2. 5 years previous work experience in a manufacturing facility 3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. 4. Detail oriented. 5. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. 6. Intermediate math skills, add, subtract multiply divide and percentages. 7. Has good reasoning ability and demonstrates good judgement. 8. Must be able to stand and/or sit for 8 or more hours per day. Salary, hours and benefits: Hourly $16-$20 per hour. Minimum 40 hours per week 60 hours maximum. Position is daily Monday-Friday and offers 1st shift 6:30am-3pm or 2nd shift 3pm-11pm Position includes paid holidays.
