Description We are providing an opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer role based in Chicago, Illinois. The nature of this role is remote and revolves around the legal industry. The role necessitates someone experienced in various aspects of law, with a focus on employment law. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage document indexing to ensure proper organization and accessibility of legal documents.

• Oversee discovery processes in legal proceedings, ensuring all relevant information is disclosed.

• Draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements with high attention to detail.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using resources such as WestLaw to support case preparation.

• Manage and utilize case management software for efficient handling of legal cases.

• Utilize legal software for drafting, briefing, claim administration, and complaint handling purposes.

• Execute civil litigation processes, adhering to all legal standards and protocols.

• Administer and manage legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Utilize LexisNexis and other management systems for efficient information retrieval and case management.

• Work within a team, collaborating and communicating effectively with other legal professionals. Requirements • Possession of a valid license to practice law

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience

• Proficiency in the use of legal software such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, and case management software

• Experience in civil litigation, claim administration, and complaint handling

• Strong skills in legal research and drafting legal documents

• Familiarity with the 3M management system

• Proficiency in briefing and discovery processes

• Excellent documentation skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Willingness to continue learning and improving legal skills.
