Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. This role involves managing various account payable tasks in a dynamic setting. You will be responsible for analyzing vendor invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, and handling company credit card payments among other duties. This role offers a long-term contract role with great advancement opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze vendor invoices for accuracy, verify three-way match, eligibility for discount, and voucher

• Enter field service PO information into ERP system from vendor invoices

• Orchestrate vendor checks

• Reconcile Vendor Statements in a timely manner

• Oversee vendor reports

• Process new Vendor accounts

• Respond to all Vendor inquiries

• Assist with company credit card management.

Requirements

• AS in Accounting and Finance preferred

• 2-3 years proven Accounts Payable experience required

• Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Netsuite, Oracle, etc.) wanted

• Familiarity with check processing

• Ability to handle credit card Statements

• Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed

• Strong communication and organizational skills
