We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex IT issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of various IT systems, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the highest level of escalation for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance and resolution to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.

• Investigate and diagnose advanced IT issues across multiple systems, including hardware, software, networking, and security.

• Develop and implement innovative solutions to resolve recurring technical problems and optimize IT infrastructure performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and developers, to address complex IT issues and implement system enhancements.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and prevent future occurrences.

• Lead and participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, providing technical expertise and guidance.

• Mentor and train Tier 1 and Tier 2 support staff, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

• Document all support activities, solutions, and procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the knowledge base.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in IT technologies and best practices, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in IT support roles, with a minimum of 3-5 years of support experience or equivalent position.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex IT issues across multiple systems, including hardware, software, networking, and security.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.

• Expertise in ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.

• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), are preferred.
