Description
Position Summary
The Material Handler will assist with preparation of the paint-line and powder coating fabricated materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
Commitment to workplace safety.
Prepare, set up, and test paint spraying.
Apply powder coating when required to fill any surface imperfections.
Mix coating materials in accordance with specifications.
Provide error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
Work under direct supervision.
Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Shift
1st Shift - Voluntary overtime opportunity on Friday's when applicable.
Monday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
Tuesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
Wednesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
Thursday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
Friday - As Needed (Voluntary OT)
Skills and Qualifications
Simple problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Ability to use measuring tools (preferred).
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
