CDL drivers needed for local wheelchair van transportation company. Candidates must be reliable and personable. Local non-emergency medical transportation only--no overnight trips required. Flexible schedule with the ability to set your own hours. Ability to earn additional certifications through the company for your license. Commission-based pay is calculated per mile PLUS additional load fee per stop. Drivers have up front access to commissions via app.Responsibilities:- Safely operate a passenger wheelchair van and/or other passenger vehicles.- Load and unload or assist in loading and unloading passengers.- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely and efficient deliveries.- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.- Maintain a clean and organized passenger and cargo areas.Experience:- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (P endorsement for 5 or fewer passengers required by start date)- Proven experience in large vehicle operation.- Familiarity with medical transportation a plus.- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Good knowledge of local roads and routes to ensure efficient deliveries.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
