Job Description

People:

  • Manage, lead and inspire a team of customer service representatives who support Canadian customers

  • Perform weekly one on one meeting with each team member. In these meetings, performance should be discussed along with goal setting

  • Host weekly team meetings with the team to ensure that they are kept up to date on all new processes and procedures

  • Partner with internal customers such as sales, logistics, forecasting and plant team in order to best service our external customers

  • Host recurring weekly meetings with the key stakeholders from the sales team

Process:

  • Perform a statistically valid sample size of quality checks using Salesforce to ensure that team members are following best practice and providing a great customer experience

  • Work in conjunction with supply planning and ensure that there is alignment between volume of orders and plant capacity

  • Partner with sales to coordinate slow moving materials from the plants

  • Facilitate transfers of competitive stock from new customers

  • Handle escalated customer issues promptly while providing solutions that work for the customer

Systems and Reporting:

  • Must have experience working in the manufacturing space and experience partnering with logistics and plants

  • Prepare and distribute open order reports for customers

  • Provide MTD and YTD reports for the sales team

  • Winter booking and buys require weekly reporting to key stakeholders

  • KPI reporting

  • Track and monitor absenteeism, overtime etc.
