Robert Half Collections Specialist in Boise, Idaho

Description We are seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Boise, Idaho. The role primarily involves managing and resolving customer credit inquiries, maintaining accurate credit records, and taking necessary actions for delinquent payments. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, making it ideal for individuals looking to secure a long-term role in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Accurately process customer credit applications using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP, JDE EnterpriseOne, Workday ERP, AS400.

• Conduct thorough accounts receivable (AR) duties, ensuring all financial data is correct.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting, demonstrating high attention to detail.

• Manage cash applications, ensuring all cash receipts are applied correctly.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly, identifying and addressing any issues.

• Perform soft collections by contacting customers to resolve payment issues and collect overdue payments.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, providing high-quality customer service.

• Leverage your collections or AR experience to improve the efficiency of our credit management processes. Requirements • Proficient in Collections and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Familiarity with SAP and JDE EnterpriseOne

• Experience with Workday ERP and AS400 software

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Practical knowledge of Cash Applications

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers

• Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills

• Proven ability to meet and exceed set collection targets

• Demonstrated organizational skills and detail-oriented approach

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong understanding of financial processes, procedures, and policies.
