We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge Generative AI products, collaborate with other squads and teams throughout the company, and you will serve as a representative for our group in cross-departmental projects.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta office two or more days per week.

What you'll bring

• You have 5 or more years of experience building and optimizing complicated software and extensive experience working within large-scale development environments.

• You hold yourself to a high standard and expect your teammates to do the same - you are comfortable mentoring and helping those around you level up.

• Deep experience building extensible, modular, well organized and well tested code and beautiful, intuitive and accessible user interfaces.

• Experience with enterprise patterns, testing, debugging and performance.

• You are as comfortable working with and improving upon legacy systems and code as you are building new features and applications.

• You have strong communication and collaboration skills.

• You have experience developing new and enhancing existing features as well as investigating and resolving defects.

• You adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, and design best practices.

• You have experience with some of all of the following backend technologies: PHP, PHPUnit, Golang, AWS, general MVC.

• You have experience with some of all of the following frontend technologies: React (strongly preferred), Jest, React Testing Library, HTML/CSS, etc.

How you will lead

• You'll write and maintain scalable, efficient code for the Mailchimp application.

• You'll share expertise with Development teammates through code reviews, office hours, Tech Talks, and other avenues.

• You'll provide mentorship for fellow team members and collaborate with Senior / Staff Engineers.

• You'll research and propose new approaches to work, tools, and best practices for the team.

• You'll work with design, data science, MLEng and engineering team members to build features and services from concept through implementation.

• You'll work independently with minimal supervision.

• You'll foster an inclusive community on the team and within the company.
