Description

Role and Responsibilities:

• Own the joint venture accounts payable process, including coding, approvals, and payment processing.

• Build out processes and procedures related to our joint venture portfolio.

• Assist the accounting team in insourcing currently outsourced accounts payable, including hiring and training staff.

• Responsible for processing 1,000 invoices/month

• Train and supervise accounts payable team members.

• Assist with managing the company’s lease obligations through our cloud-based lease management system.

• Help with the loan draw process for projects under construction.

• Foster relationships with staff, suppliers, and vendors

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience

• Experience managing a team

• Experience processing accounts payable in NetSuite/SquareWorks, Oracle, or other similar general ledger systems is preferable.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

• Experience working with cross-functional departments such as finance, treasury, operations, and legal.

• Strong problem-solving and creative skills with an ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
