Description

We are seeking a Development/Fundraising Director for a non-profit organization located in Anaheim, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will support various aspects of the organization's funding plan, including donor cultivation, event planning, public relations, and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of the funding plan, including donor cultivation and recognition, grant submission and reporting, and endowment and scholarship funds

• Energetically and aggressively research and identify new sources of funding

• Manage alumni communication programs, events and public relations

• Oversee mail solicitation and communication efforts

• Represent the organization at various events, meetings and functions both on and off campus

• Utilize skills in database management, EO/IR systems, and various social media platforms like Facebook Insights, Instagram, and LinkedIn

• Develop advertisements to increase brand awareness and assist in campaign planning

• Design and distribute magazines to promote the organization's work

• Lead fundraising initiatives and manage budgeting for the organization

• Provide account service for public relations efforts.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Database and EO/IR systems

• Experience with social media platforms including Facebook Insights, Instagram, and LinkedIn

• Proven ability in creating effective Advertisements

• Demonstrable experience in enhancing Brand Awareness

• Skilled in Campaign Planning

• Strong design skills with experience in Magazines

• Proven track record of successful Fundraising efforts

• Ability to manage Budgeting effectively

• Experience in Public Relations - Account Service

• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-profit environment

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field is preferred

• Proven track record in directing and controlling public relations functions
